They joined an online health food and supplements retailer in 2016 as a Digital Marketing Manager. The site is aimed at the NZ and Australian market and gets around 35,000 hits per month. Here they are responsible for hitting the monthly digital sales targets. To do this, they manage all aspects of the e-commerce store and the digital marketing in a very hands-on manner. This involves uploading all of the product copy and imagery, setting the promotional calendar and merchandising the site, creating banners for the website, managing the social channels, and managing the EDMs using design tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator. They set up and run the Google ads (shopping, search, and GDN) and Facebook ads, spending around $10k per month. They also use Google Analytics to track campaign and website performance. Prior to this, they were working as a Digital Marketing Coordinator overseas. Here they managed six company websites (which the candidate built themselves) and worked across SEO, content, maintenance, and design. They are now looking for a new professional opportunity that encompasses both digital marketing and e-commerce. They have a notice period of two weeks so get in touch ASAP to discuss this candidate further or to arrange an interview.
