This global digital consultancy specialises in using technology to drive powerful one-to-one communications. Working with New Zealand’s largest brands, they lead digital transformation journeys using enterprise marketing technology platforms (think Adobe, Salesforce, etc.). Masters of understanding the customer journey and using owned digital channels to their fullest, this consultancy connects strategy, technology, data, and customer insights to creative, media, and digital communications. As an Account Director, you’ll work with a well-known enterprise brand and spearhead their digital transformation journey. Managing a team of between one and three Account Managers, you will lead conversations around building an exceptional customer experience through utilising customer data and databases/DMPs/CDPs, loyalty programmes, and CRM. The focus here is on owned channels (rather than paid media). As this consultancy is very well-established with deep and long-standing relationships in place, you will have solid internal systems and processes to support you.

about you

We are looking for a polished, articulate individual who has helped enterprise brands shape their approach to customer communications. You might come from an agency, a brand, a publisher or a consultancy background. This is a unique role where personality fit, approach, communication style, and leadership skills are equally as important as a strong knowledge of owned media, customer data, loyalty programmes, and CRM.


  • Experience in leading client relationships & strategy
  • Broad knowledge of digital media, data, loyalty, and CRM
  • Strong knowledge of the digital marketing & advertising ecosystem
  • Confident line management skills
  • Excellent oral & written presentation skills
