As the Digital Content Lead, you’ll be responsible for leading a team of content writers and ensuring all written content meets this company’s marketing needs.
This company has done some initial work on developing customer personas & brand guidelines, so you’ll step in to complete this work and plan content strategy that aligns. With this strategy in place, you’ll then map out what digital channels (e.g. website, blog, email, social) this content will be published on and direct this work out amongst your team. From time to time, you’ll also bust out the keyboard to write content yourself as needed. You’ll ensure that this content follows SEO best practices and is thoroughly proofread for mistakes. Once projects are underway, you’ll publish & upload content, monitor content performance, manage timelines, and work in tandem with the wider marketing team.
