As the Digital Content Lead, you’ll be responsible for leading a team of content writers and ensuring all written content meets this company’s marketing needs.

 

This company has done some initial work on developing customer personas & brand guidelines, so you’ll step in to complete this work and plan content strategy that aligns. With this strategy in place, you’ll then map out what digital channels (e.g. website, blog, email, social) this content will be published on and direct this work out amongst your team. From time to time, you’ll also bust out the keyboard to write content yourself as needed. You’ll ensure that this content follows SEO best practices and is thoroughly proofread for mistakes. Once projects are underway, you’ll publish & upload content, monitor content performance, manage timelines, and work in tandem with the wider marketing team.

about you

Previous experience in a content management or digital production role is critical, with a strong copywriting ability essential. A strong understanding of marketing concepts and strategy creation is key, too, as you’ll be the lead in this area. Finally, a great understanding of digital channels and how they work with content is important.

 

  • Strong content writing & content production experience for digital channels
  • Thorough knowledge of best practice SEO
  • Knowledge of how to form personas, branding guidelines, and content strategy
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience with online metrics & analytics (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Hotjar)
  • Working knowledge of web design tools & CMS
  • Collaborative attitude and empathetic people management ability
