Our client is one of NZ’s leading media owners. They publish content across a range of formats including print, social media, websites and video.

As Digital Content Producer, you’ll sit within the digital production team and create content for the digital channels of a leading lifestyle, fashion and food magazine. These digital channels are website, social media, emails/EDM and video. Your work will show the heart and soul of the magazine, and the articles you write for the website will help to inform what’s published in the print version.
The role is more than just copy-writing, though. You’ll source images (and take your own photos and videos, as well) to use on the website and in social media feeds, and will be the author of their highly popular emails.
You’ll also work in collaboration with the in-house video production team to create engaging video assets, and the team is excited to see someone come in who can bring some great ideas to the table in this area.
As a copywriter, you’ll have experience writing content for websites, social media posts, emails and YouTube videos. As well as having a flair for the written word, you’ll be curious to learn more about how digital content can be measured for success, using tools like Google Analytics and Facebook Ad Manager.
A strong eye for the visual, with experience in photography and/or video production is also highly welcome. An understanding of social media tools and the principles of search engine marketing will also be useful. This is a hands-on role and you’ll work with the digital and commercial teams as needs be to load campaigns and branded content in owned and paid channels.
- Proven copywriting experience for digital channels
- Ideally, an understanding of how to optimise copy with support of Google Analytics & search tools
- Experience with running social media campaigns and ideally, Emails/EDMs
- Great ideas for developing engaging video content
- Willingness to learn new skills and support the wider digital team ad hoc
