Supporting numerous Kiwis with critical health conditions, this organisation have a huge role in educating the public about these conditions and fundraising for families in need. They’re now ready to step their digital presence up a gear and are looking for an ambitious digital marketing specialist who wants to grow within their tight-knit and welcoming team. In this newly created role, as Digital Marketing Specialist you’ll be responsible for the campaign planning and analysis of all of this organisation’s digital outreach. This organisation is focused on how to create strong online donor streams, so your work will be all about driving acquisition and retention through various digital channels.

 

Day to day, this will include several different areas. Firstly, you will be the key relationship manager with this organisation’s incumbent agency. While this role doesn’t require much hands-on campaign implementation, you’ll be able to analyse campaign progress reports and proactively drive the agency relationship to ensure targets are met. This means you’ll recognise when campaigns need a change in strategy or extra work in order to meet KPIs.

 

Internally, you’ll be a key advocate for new digital strategy and drumming up new donor acquisition ideas. This organisation already has a strong database in place, so you’ll have plenty of data to work with in order to help your strategy thrive.

 

You’ll also use your strong eye for analysis to dig into campaigns for insights and present key achievements to the wider marketing team.

 

This role has plenty of scope to grow internally, and the team are keen to welcome someone who has plenty of ambition and wants to become the key digital leader in this organisation.

about you

Expertise across a variety of digital channels (organic & paid search, social media, email, SMS, etc.) is key for this role, and you’ll be confident in identifying how campaigns can be improved. You’ll also have a good handle on campaign analysis and troubleshooting. As this role works with multiple stakeholders, you’ll need to drive supplier relationships to success and be confident in pitching fresh ideas to senior team members.

 

  • Proven experience in various digital marketing channels and a “jack of all trades” attitude
  • Good analytical ability using industry tools like Google Analytics and email platforms
  • Digital strategy creation and planning experience
  • Strong relationship management ability
  • Performance marketing experience, with knowledge of fundraising practices and guidelines highly welcomed
  • Friendly and outgoing team player attitude
