As the Digital Media Director, you will be the critical link between this agency’s clients and the internal implementation teams. These clients are focused on performance campaigns, with e-commerce and retail promotions at the front and centre. Through regular client consultations, you will create digital media strategy that seamlessly aligns with their business goals and addresses pain points.


Once created, you will be the owner of these campaigns and ensure that all the internal digital media teams effectively implement them. This agency has a wide array of digital channel specialists (search, programmatic, display, native, social, etc.), so there’s an excellent opportunity to try out ideas with the confidence that this team can deliver.


During campaigns, you will analyse progress and coach team members on improvement points. Once finished, you’ll report on the post-campaign results to clients and identify critical wins for their business goals.

about you

Several years of digital media strategy and planning experience are essential, especially within an agency context for high-performance clients. As this role is responsible for maintaining and strengthening client relationships, you will be confident in creating digital strategy and persuading stakeholders. This role will also support junior staff members, so an aptitude for leadership and coaching is beneficial.


  • Proven agency-side experience in digital media strategy, planning, and buying
  • Strong knowledge of performance marketing and relevant digital channels (search, social, programmatic, etc.)
  • Confident client facing ability and proven history in managing relationships to success
  • Interest in leading and coaching junior team members
  • Proactive and friendly attitude
