This is your opportunity to lead on Strategy within a new department of this agency. You’ll partner with multiple teams within the wider agencies and bring together the thinking on creative and media strategy - all through a framework of the customer journey, how the brand can use first party data and CRM, and top-level user experience.   

This is a bold new direction for the agency, and you will lead clients on a brand-new journey of one-to-one, personalised communications where understanding the customer journey is key.  

  • Develop and present strategic marketing recommendations to clients - blurring the line between brand experiences & data, creative & media. 
  • Build user experiences that are underpinned by first-party data, CRM strategies and customer journey mapping. 
  • Create one-to-one, personalized communication frameworks for clients and ensure that all agencies play into this strategy, no matter if the output is ‘media’ or ‘creative’.  
  • Liaise closely with internal and external teams to resolve client issues, providing data and technology solutions and recommendations. 
  • Gather insights and analysis to map customer experiences and identify improvements. 

about you

For this role, we’re looking for a digital strategist who can see beyond the traditional frameworks of ‘creative’ and ‘media’ outputs. Rather, the customer journey will be at the heart of your strategy – and you’ll be able to bring all agency stakeholders along for the ride. This means you’ll have a deep understanding of strategic planning principles, and an in-depth understanding of how customer data and CRM is the driver.   

  • Experience leading brand strategy for $multi-million enterprise clients.   
  • Strong understanding of agency environments.  
  • Sound background in customer journey mapping. 
  • Proven skills in using data to tell compelling stories.  
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Adobe Suite, Marketo and Marketing Cloud.
