The strategy team at this agency is focused on moving their discipline forward into a new era of insights and business solutions. This means they’re focused on puzzling over data sets, thinking about new ways to design creative assets & media strategies, testing fresh communications structures, and considering what’s next in business solutions for their clients.
The purpose of the Director of Media & Creative Strategy role is to be the voice of the customer, covering business strategy, audience profiling, insight development, and communications planning in order to ensure a brand’s work reflects their customer’s needs. You’ll have the opportunity here to get clients to think beyond short-term campaign planning and help them create authentic value for their customers at scale.
This role is highly varied, so you’ll bring a thorough understanding of the campaign planning lifecycle, a love of creative work, comprehensive data analysis ability, excellent client relationship management skills, and a desire to work with major brand names who want to dream big with their communications strategies.
We’re looking for a curious mind who can be the voice of the customer, the business maverick, the trends and insights expert, the devil’s advocate and the creative spokesperson.
Proven experience in strategy creation is essential, whether it be from a media, creative, or business consulting background. You’ll need to have an analytical skill set that can extract audience insights and customer needs and use this data to influence your planning. As this role will see you be a core contact for various agency partners and clients, friendly and proactive communication ability is key.
