One of NZ’s hottest fledgling consumer brands is bracing for a bumper 2021, as they grow to new heights and serve a global market. They sit in the health and wellbeing category (think: supplements, protein powders, gut health, that sort of thing) and are looking to grow quickly in the new year.

  • Small and tight-knit team, sitting in a sunny, stylish and gorgeous open-plan office in Auckland’s city fringe


This is an awesome opportunity to own this brand’s e-commerce capability and take the business to the next level in this space. Using a “test & learn” mindset, you’ll constantly improve the onsite customer experience and maximise sales through the Shopify website. To support this goal, you’ll launch digital campaigns across multiple channels, using agencies and also getting stuck into the tools yourself.

  • E-Commerce plan & projects: execute digital campaigns that dovetail in with the overall marketing strategy, to maximise sales across the digital touchpoints including email, influencers, paid advertising (via agency) and social media
  • Analysis & reporting: own and maintain site analytics, metrics and campaign reporting
  • CMS coordination & optimisation: manage website content updates, planning structures and layouts to optimise user experience & user funnels for engagement, acquisition, conversion & retention
  • SEO: Working with the SEO agency, utilise platforms to research and track SEO, and make sure that organic search is continually on the agenda

about you

We’re looking for a proactive self-starter for this role, with both analytical and creative acumen. You’ll bring strong communication skills to the table and will have a proven background in e-commerce and digital marketing.


  • Proven understanding of e-commerce tools, technologies, and online path-to-purchase
  • Strong skills in digital marketing for brand activation, performance, and retention goals
  • Direct experience of driving sales on a D2C platform within a consumer goods setting (Shopify experience preferred but not essential)
  • Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels
  • An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
