Our client is a well-known, medium-sized retail brand with an established e-commerce presence. Their digital sales grew strongly last year, and during lockdown they have seen an even bigger rise in anticipated growth. They are far ahead a lot of other retailers in terms of their digital transformation journey and have the tools, team and product in place to make this year a very successful one. You will join a marketing team of 10+ people and report to an experienced Head of Marketing, taking a key role in a digitally-savvy environment.


As Digital & E-Commerce Marketing Manager, you will take responsibility for growing e-commerce revenue for this brand. Your role is to utilise your deep, cross-channel digital marketing experience and develop innovative campaigns that ensure digital sales hit their number. Key channels are email marketing, paid social and Google (SEM, GDN, etc) - and the company wants you to push the boundaries and explore other channels and the latest digital techniques to help you gain market share. You will initially lead a team of one (with the opportunity to grow this team in time) and you’ll hold a senior role within the company, working closely with the Head of Marketing and CEO.

about you

We are looking for a client-side digital marketer with strong retail e-commerce experience. Ideally, you’ll have a background in digital content marketing and will have a strong appreciation of the relationship between digital content and sales. With sound skills in paid social media, email marketing and the Google stack, you’ll also bring a thorough understanding of best user journeys for e-commerce platforms. This role is focused on generating fresh ideas and scaling their strong digital revenue base, so you’ll be confident in creating campaigns that ensure great returns.


  • Proven digital marketing experience in an e-commerce focused role

  • Strong skills in paid social (Facebook, Instagram) and Google campaigns
  • Sound understanding of email marketing
