This luxury brand is looking for a senior marketer to lead its global digital marketing & creative strategy.

This large and well-known luxury brand is making waves both here in NZ and overseas. They’re consistently ranked amongst the best in their category and have a tight-knit team who are passionate about the products. They’re looking to build on their international presence by growing their market share in some territories and launching from scratch in others. They’re on the hunt for an impressive, senior-level individual to lead their international digital marketing & creative strategy and help them grow.

role

Reporting to the Board, this unique role will see you lead the global digital marketing & creative strategy across Western markets such as the US, UK, Canada, France and Australia.

 

You’ll undertake a full review of the brand’s national & international digital presence, then make recommendations on how digital can drive further growth.  You will take charge of digital marketing & creative strategy, pioneering new channels and staying a step ahead of trends.

 

Each market has a different objective (e.g. new market penetration, local market re-positioning of the brand, consolidating and growing market share) so you’ll ensure that a robust strategy is in place that meets the needs of different territories.

 

You’ll lead the digital marketing and in-house creative teams, so will be a confident manager who knows how to help team members do their best work, recognise opportunities for process improvement, and proactively manage budgets.

about you

Strong, senior experience in digital marketing and digital creative is key to success in this role. You’ll have had experience in consumer market verticals, ideally retail or D2C. A background in fashion, beauty, wellness, premium beverages, and/or lifestyle brands would be ideal.

 

  • A strong pedigree in digital marketing strategy, ideally with experience in targeting international markets.
  • Excellent team leadership abilities.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of how to develop a strong brand identity, and ultimately, drive growth.
  • Friendly and proactive approach that tackles issues head-on.
