They appreciate that in today’s digitally led landscape, data analytics must be interwoven into the fabric of agency consulting, media, and creative production. Therefore, they are looking for a senior-level marketing data expert who can develop their data and analytics product. This is a dynamic role, so they are looking for someone who can set the strategy, but also lead from the front and get stuck into the tools when necessary.



  • Develop a world-class data analytics product that brings measurement into the heart of the conversation
  • Consult with new and existing clients at a strategic level, advising C-suite level contacts on innovative new disciplines & technologies like machine learning
  • Be the in-house thought-leader for analytics & data, marrying it to marketing & advertising outcomes
  • Hire and develop a team underneath you
  • Pitch this agency’s data & analytics capabilities to clients



  • Run the department P&L
  • Web analytics consulting & implementation
  • Review and partner with relevant data & analytics tools
  • Be a super user of the analytical toolkit within the Google & Adobe suite
  • Use SQL, R / Python, & Excel

about you

A strong history in data science and marketing technology is vital, as you will need an excellent theoretical knowledge base to back your work. In tandem with this technical know-how, you will also be confident in explaining these complex subjects to senior leaders and junior team members in a straightforward manner. Finally, an eye for commercial opportunities will be necessary, as you’ll be the strategy lead on all analytics products this agency develops.


  • Experience in data science, marketing technology, and commercial analytics at a senior level
  • Strong technical ability with cloud (e.g., BigQuery) and data analysis (e.g., Adobe Analytics) technologies
  • Working knowledge of SQL, R, Python, and Excel
  • Proven experience in digital analytics roles, including Google or Adobe Analytics
