Your job sits within the media & brand partnerships team. This team helps clients to create “real life” conversations with their audiences, outside of traditional media channels. This means instead of the usual banner adverts and TV spots, their focus is all about engaging with audiences directly. These experiences could be through social media influencers, sponsorships, brand activations, or more – the key is to get audiences engaged in a meaningful, “real life” way.


This is where you step in. As a Junior Account Manager, you’ll work closely with the senior members of the team to liaise with clients, media owners and other external partners such as production houses, technology platforms and content creators.


There’s a lot of coordination and project-management, and you’ll also contribute to brainstorms and come up with creative ideas for your clients.


You will be confident operating as the center point of communications and persuading stakeholders in order to achieve excellent campaign outcomes. In return, this agency can offer great internal education opportunities and exposure to the broader media & creative world.

about you

Experience in partnerships, media and/or PR campaigns and good knowledge of the New Zealand media landscape is key to this role. You’ll also bring a strong understanding of marketing channels, both digital & offline, and their comparative strengths. Finally, you’ll be confident in pitching ideas and getting stakeholders on board, whether they are internal staff, industry contacts, or clients.


  • Experience with media & brand partnerships
  • Background in PR planning, marketing coordination, or media account management
  • Working knowledge of the NZ media landscape
  • Confident and persuasive communication skills
  • Outgoing personality and collaborative spirit
