Reporting to the Head of Digital and the CEO, the Lead Designer Online role will ensure this brand’s visual presence is effective and consistently optimised on global e-commerce, e-retail, D2C, and social media platforms.


Day to day, this will include making key art direction decisions alongside the leadership team, where you’ll champion your commercial knowledge and best practice design principles. You’ll then lead the design team in directing and carrying out this work (such as typographic design, graphic design, mobile formatting, etc.). You will focus on producing a consistent design style on all digital platforms and a straightforward consumer pathway with content.


This work will see you work with various platforms such as department store websites, mobile apps, search engine adverts, brand hubs on e-commerce platforms, and more. This means you and your team will continuously produce and manage the visual content for this brand to ensure it stays ahead of the curve online.

about you

With a mobile-first mindset, you’ll bring strong experience with digital art direction. The internet will be your playground, and you’ll be excited to bring this brand up to an international standard of online design. You’ll also have a thorough understanding of how mobile-optimised design works within digital marketing campaigns and online customer user journeys.


  • Proven experience in digital art direction and graphic design
  • Enthusiasm for digital mediums and their potential
  • Experience with e-commerce and online sales channels
  • Team leadership experience
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills
