This longstanding digital agency boasts some of New Zealand’s best digital media experts, with decades of experience combined within their team. Their services include the full suite of digital marketing channels, and they take pride in providing highly customised solutions to their clients. Internal upskilling and progression are incredibly important to this agency, as they want their team members to feel enabled to succeed. 


As a Programmatic Account Manager, you’ll work with client accounts, both direct and agency partners, to manage relationships and direct work to the internal specialist teams.  


This role doesn’t require any programmatic media buying or business development; instead, you’ll be the lead on digital media plans and ensure that the internal teams run to agreed campaign timelines & goals.  


There’s also a reporting element to this role, as you’ll review dashboard tracking and add recommendations to post-campaign analysis reports.  


While this role is a parental leave cover contract, this agency is steadily growing, and this role could transition into a permanent position.

about you

Strong experience in media account management is key, as you’ll be the lead in client relationships. You’ll also bring a high level of programmatic knowledge and know what it takes to make a campaign succeed. Finally, you’ll be confident in reading dashboards, collecting insights, and delivering post-campaign reports. 


  • Excellent client service and pitching skills 
  • Proven experience with programmatic campaign strategy and planning  
  • Friendly and empathetic stakeholder communication ability 
  • Strong knowledge of other digital marketing channels and MarTech
