This is a 3-month fixed-term contract job - which could be extended. This retailer is quite new to the online trading space, so they need a retail e-commerce expert to sense-check what has already been done, and make sure the ongoing e-comm strategy is effective. It’s a hands-on role where you’ll examine all aspects of their e-commerce operations – from website optimisation to digital marketing, payment solutions, ERP and order fulfilment – the full e-comm cycle. 

 

  • Oversee, manage, and optimise the online web store and e-commerce strategy. 
  • Develop and implement e-commerce strategy to grow website performance. 
  • Provide analysis, reporting & insights on performance of campaigns and projects.  
  • Manage and execute marketing strategies to grow sales, AOV, conversion rate & customer acquisition. 
  • Work alongside web developers to improve and enhance customer experience. 

 

about you

For this role, you’ll bring a good understanding of retail e-commerce and digital marketing. Ideally, you’ll have experience in a similar role where you helped a large online retailer to succeed online.  

 

  • You’ll have a good understanding of retail e-commerce and digital marketing.  
  • Track record in optimising each stage of the e-commerce customer journey. 
  • Sound experience developing and analysing digital strategies.  
  • Good understanding of web design and website performance.  
  • Knowledge of e-commerce operations would be a bonus – e.g., supply chain planning, warehouse management, receiving and managing inventory, arranging the customer orders, shipping logistics, customer services, etc.
