This is a rare opportunity to use your sales experience to set up a division within an ambitious, fast-growing media and marketing company. With an established name in the market, they are setting up a new digital marketing division to provide services over paid search, social media, email, website design and build, and many other digital marketing channels.
Their CEO has a superb track record of success in creating large, credible, profitable New Zealand companies and is looking for someone to help him grow out this division.
As a Digital Marketing Sales Specialist, you will set-up and lead sales for the digital marketing division. Reporting to the General Manager, this involves selling digital marketing solutions (e.g. SEM, Paid Social, Email, Website Design and Build, etc.) to current and prospective clients – who tend to be small to medium sized brands. As this company continues to grow, you’ll also have the opportunity to have significant influence over processes, product development and pricing - which requires a willingness to innovate and think outside the square.
With proven sales experience, you’ll bring a thorough understanding of the digital marketing landscape and a proactive attitude. As this role is highly autonomous, you’ll be confident in setting structure and investigating new sales opportunities.
- Proven sales experience within digital media or marketing
- “Hunter” background with the ability to drive revenue from new accounts
- Proactive and resilient attitude to push for results
- Thorough understanding of the digital marketing landscape and campaign lifecycle
- Excellent client handling skills and internal stakeholder reporting
