role

As an SEM Manager, you’ll own the conversion, retention, and engagement funnel. You’ll run large-budget paid search campaigns using mainly Google Ads, and also a bit of Google Shopping, GDN, and YouTube. You’ll write ad copy, optimise data in product feeds, and track and report on performance. You’ll use first- and third-party audience data creatively. 

 

  • Create paid search strategy and manage search campaigns at scale. 
  • Perform large-scale keyword research and optimisation. 
  • Utilise audience data including customer match, remarketing, and in-market. 
  • Meet, analyse and report on digital marketing objectives and key results. 
  • Write, test, and optimise copy for ads.

about you

You’ll have proven experience running paid search campaigns for retail and/or e-Commerce with a strong grasp of Google Marketing Platform (GMP) and the tools within it. You’ll know how to track and tag set-up and implementation and understand URL parameters and tracking pixels. Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset and efficiency will be key in the fast-paced work environment. 

 

  • Proven experience managing high-performing paid search campaigns. 
  • You’ll be confident with large budget spends. 
  • Strong understanding of Google and its tools – Search Ads 360 experience beneficial. 
  • You’ll be proactive and suggest new ideas to challenge best practices. 
  • Solid organisational, multi-tasking and communication skills.
