role

As a Social Media Account Director, you’ll work with clients to develop high-performance social media strategies. You’ll be responsible for seeing the “big picture” and ensuring that a common strategic thread connects all social campaigns. Many of these clients have budgets numbering in the millions, so you’ve got a fantastic opportunity here to get innovative with your ideas.

 

Day to day, this will see you meet with clients to understand their social goals, pitch campaign ideas, and drill down into their audiences. Once this strategy is determined, you’ll then work with account managers to farm this work out to specialists and monitor their progress.

 

This role will see you be a key source of social media knowledge for the wider team, so you’ll have a demonstrated passion for the social marketing world. Whether studying the latest platforms and their advantages, researching social trends, or reading up the wider digital marketing world, you’ll be well equipped to deliver outstanding social insights to clients and colleagues alike.

 

This is a 12-month maternity cover contract, with strong potential to become a permanent position.

about you

Strong agency-side experience in social media strategy creation and planning for various clients is critical. You’ll also be confident in pitching fresh ideas to clients and be unflappable in the face of high expectations. You’ll work with multiple internal staff and partners on campaigns, so your top-notch communication skills will tie everything together.

 

  • Strong senior experience in social media strategy and planning
  • Confident and compelling client relationship management ability
  • High level of expertise in social media channels, analysis tools, and key strengths
  • Superb written and verbal communication
  • Working knowledge of the broader digital advertising ecosystem
