founder and director
With over 13 years of recruitment experience, Amelia cut her teeth in the digital industry in London. She worked for some of the UK’s top media, publishing and communication talent agencies before specialising in recruiting for digital marketing, e-commerce and digital media roles.
In early 2014, Amelia co-founded a successful digital talent agency in London and led the team to great success, recruiting for some of the world’s leading brands and online businesses, agencies and trading desks, and publishers. She also made it a priority to develop an extensive, international network of Kiwi ex-pats working within the digital industry.
In mid-2017, Amelia sold her share of the business in order to return to New Zealand and to bring her digital recruitment skill-set home. After a few months travelling the world, Amelia came back to New Zealand and launched Campfire Digital Recruitment in 2018. She is now focused on building the Auckland-based business and delivering an exceptional recruitment experience to candidates and clients alike.
Coco’s bright personality means she is a favourite with candidates and clients alike. She has a diligent and caring approach to the recruitment process, and her ever-present smile makes her a joy to work with.
Outside of work, you’ll find Coco exploring Auckland’s cafes & restaurants, hitting the early morning gym classes, and heading out to music festivals all around New Zealand.
Born in England, Ieuan started his recruitment journey in 2016 after receiving a Bachelors in Marketing, Advertising, and Communications from the University of Gloucestershire.
Ieuan then headed down under in 2018 and joined ReachLocal as an internal recruiter initially, and then moved into digital campaign management. The allure of recruitment was still strong though, so Ieuan is now at Campfire to showcase his awesome digital industry knowledge and source fantastic talent.
In his downtime, you’ll find Ieuan scoping out festivals and watching the latest football games.
P.S. The name is Welsh, so say “Yi-yan” (Rhyme “Yi” with “High”!)
Originally from Leeds, Thomas brings an awesome breadth of experience from across the globe. Kicking off his recruitment career in 2015, Thomas recruited in the social work industry and then headed down to Australia for sales work once the travel bug bit.
New Zealand proved to be the ultimate winner though, and Thomas rapidly grew his recruitment expertise at Hays. Campfire caught Thomas’ eye as a great chance to learn about the digital advertising industry, and we’re delighted to have his seasoned sales knowledge with us.
Outside the office, you’ll find Thomas putting his way across the best of Auckland’s golfing greens.
