role

As an Agency Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing the business for agency clients. These are all existing agency relationships. This firm has a fantastic range of digital products and comprehensive data & insights reports, so you’ll have no trouble putting together custom solutions for potential accounts.

 

Once these accounts are on board, you’ll lead the client relationship and deliver briefs to the in-house team. You’ll pull together progress reports, upsell extra services, present on campaign outcomes, and do whatever it takes to keep your client relationships rock solid.

about you

This role requires strong knowledge of the New Zealand advertising agency landscape, so experience in account management and/or sales from a media agency or publisher is ideal. You’ll also need to bring a “hunter” attitude that isn’t afraid of picking up the phone. This role works with multiple internal channel specialists, so a solid understanding of the greater advertising picture will be key to your success. You’ll tie this all together with a hunger to grow and interest in growing a team out over time.

 

  • Account management and/or sales experience from an agency or publisher
  • Excellent presentation and pitching skills
  • Great internal stakeholder management skills
  • Thorough knowledge of digital marketing channels and advertising solutions
