role

This is an amazing opportunity for a senior-level e-comm professional to join a well-known Australasian brand. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will own the web store which turns over $multi-millions. This retailer is about to re-launch an improved NZ site on Shopify Plus, so there are lots of exciting initiatives to work on. You’ll work closely with the Australian team and will focus on executing the roadmap to drive online sales and improve the retailer’s online presence. 

 

  • E-Commerce Strategy Leadership: Develop and execute the company's e-commerce strategy to enhance the digital experience, boost website traffic, and meet online sales goals. Collaborate with the Australian Online team for synergies.  
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with various departments, such as IT, Customer Experience, Retail Operations, Marketing, and Merchandise to create seamless cross-channel digital customer journeys that drive profitability, while enhancing customer personalisation.  
  • Online experience Enhancement: Implement website improvements that increase sales and enhance the user experience. Continuously analyse and optimise the e-commerce merchandise strategy.  
  • Optimisation and Customer-Centricity: Improve search and product recommendation tools, categorise products for maximum sales, and collaborate with Marketing and Digital Teams for compelling content.  
  • Performance Analysis and Trends: Use analytics to monitor website performance, sales data, and customer behaviour. Stay up to date on industry trends and implement them to improve e-commerce performance.

about you

With strong experience in the retail vertical, you’ll bring proven e-commerce and CRO skills to the table. Your track record will include smashing online sales targets, developing strong internal relationships, keeping an overview of digital marketing campaigns, and liaising with web developers. This is an awesome opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership and have an impactful and highly visible role within a growing business.  

 

  • Demonstrated track record in driving omnichannel sales through the webstore.  
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.  
  • Retail industry experience preferred. 
  • Strong analytical abilities.  
  • Experience with Shopify Plus is beneficial.
