A thriving brand with a successful and established e-commerce site is looking for an E-Commerce leader to take them to the next level. Running a team of five, you’ll increase online sales through optimising the Shopify site, improve the digital customer journey, and create digital marketing strategies (campaign implementation is outsourced). In addition to a great salary, you’ll get a bonus (linked to growth in online sales) and financial assistance if you’re relocating for the job. 


  • Lead the e-commerce function with the goal of growing online sales.  
  • Line-manage a team across various disciplines. 
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, sharing strategies and communicating results.  
  • Use your financial prowess to accurately measure results.  
  • Meld into the wider team, becoming a respected leader in the company.

about you

We’re looking for an experienced e-commerce professional with a track record in leadership. You’ll have a good understanding of what levers to pull to improve e-commerce sales, profitability, and the digital customer journey. You’ll be either based in the Hawke’s Bay, or willing to relocate and enjoy the stunning weather, wine country, and lower cost of living. The company will provide financial assistance to help with your relocation costs. 


  • Proven track record in the e-commerce & digital marketing space. 
  • Ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team.  
  • Strong understanding of driving success in online sales growth.  
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to describe the e-comm landscape in laymen’s terms.  
  • Sound financial skills, and the ability to identify opportunities at the channel and product level.
