Loyalty marketing is an important element of the marketing mix, and these programmes have grown hugely in the last few years. Loyalty marketing programmes such as AA Smartfuel, Fly Buys and Airpoints encourage customers to make repeat purchases, and brands are doubling down on their efforts to optimise these programmes. This is your opportunity to join one of NZ’s most beloved retailers and help them run their customer loyalty programme. You will set up, run, and analyse marketing campaigns aimed at loyalty card members. 

 

  • Set up marketing campaigns for loyalty card members. 
  • Use your top-notch organisational skills to manage processes, timelines, and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery. 
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, to convey loyalty campaign requirements. 
  • Evaluate and report on the success of campaigns.  
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the maintenance of high-quality executions.

about you

For this role, we’re looking for someone who is very organised with strong communication skills, and the ability to analyse campaign results. You will learn a lot on the job, but ideally, you’ll bring a year of relevant work experience, and a qualification in marketing, data, or something similar. Being proactive, adaptable, and analytical will be beneficial for this position. Importantly, you should possess a positive, can-do attitude, and be ready to start in the new year or sooner. 

 

  • Ideally, a year’s experience in marketing, coordination, project management, or similar. 
  • An interest in loyalty marketing – you should be signed up to a few programmes (e.g. AA Smartfuel, Countdown OneCard, Airpoints, Flybuys) and have an opinion on what sort of offers work and why. 
  • Highly organised, great with managing projects, and driven to get the job done on schedule. 
  • Ability to multitask and a keen eye for detail. 
  • A positive approach with strong communication skills, and the initiative to pick-up tasks and take ownership.
