role

As a PR Manager, you will work 10-20 hours per week. Your mission is to shape the clinic’s public perception in the field of alternative medicine. You will craft and execute PR initiatives that foster trust, educate the community about plant-based medicine, and create awareness. Additionally, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining relationships with the media, sharing inspirational patient stories, and navigating the intricate regulatory landscape. Collaboration with the clinic’s marketing team is essential to ensure a cohesive and impactful messaging strategy. 

 

  • Strategic Messaging: Developing and executing comprehensive PR strategies, crafting educational messages and regulatory compliance.   
  • Educational outreach: Collaborating with medical professionals, researchers, and patient advocates to create educational content that explains the science behind plant-based medicine. Disseminating this information through press releases, articles, and online platforms.  
  • Media Relations: Cultivating relationships with journalists, medical bloggers, and relevant influencers. Pitching informative and evidence-based content to secure media coverage that contributes to accurate public understanding. 
  • Measuring Impact: Utilising analytics tools to track the effectiveness of PR campaigns and preparing regular reports that demonstrate the clinics' reach, engagement, and impact on public perception of plant-based medicine.  

about you

We are looking for a creative and innovative PR manager. You’ll be excited about advancing the conversation around plant-based, alternative medicine, and helping regular Kiwis improve their health and wellbeing.  

 

  • PR Experience: Proven experience in public relations or journalism, ideally in the healthcare or alternative medicine industry.  
  • Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex medical concepts in accessible language.  
  • Networking abilities: The capacity to establish relationships with medical professionals, patient advocates, and industry experts.  
  • Digital proficiency: Familiarity with social media, digital marketing trends, and PR tools for effective information dissemination.
