As the Programmatic Manager, you’ll ensure that this publisher is maximizing profits on their digital advertising inventory, with a focus on programmatic & performance channels. Day to day, you’ll develop sophisticated pricing strategies, manage pricing rules, and troubleshoot programmatic deals to ensure that inventory supply meets demand.

 

The job also plays a large role in evolving this publisher’s ad technology stack, and to that end you’ll assess potential programmatic demand partners and technology vendors.

 

You’ll also have a large voice in helping to continually develop the digital advertising product roadmap, using new opportunities within the tech vendor landscape to grow revenue across channels such as data, programmatic and native.

 

This role requires a high level of acumen in ad tech, as you’ll be a trusted advisor on how this publisher evolves its revenue opportunities. In return, this publisher can offer a fantastic internal digital team to work with, and a commitment to try out your bold ideas!

about you

To thrive in this role, you’ll need to have proven, hands-on experience in programmatic trading from either the demand or supply side of the industry. You’ll also be confident in making commercial recommendations, troubleshooting campaigns, and diving into analytical tools. Lastly, you’ll be keen for a role you can make your own and bring a team player attitude.

 

  • Strong knowledge of programmatic trading, from either the demand or supply side
  • Excellent understanding of the digital advertising landscape and the evolving ad tech scene
  • Compelling presentation skills and great stakeholder management
  • A curious and innovative mindset that asks, “what’s next?”
  • Experience with tools like Excel, Tableau, and Google Data Studio Experience with Big Query and SQL would also be useful
  • Willingness to pitch in and work as a team player
